So for bikes it began when I was 8 years old. My dad was a mechanic by hobby and a police officer through career so I was always around him tinkering with motors. Used to love going out on the back of his fireblade when I was younger.
When I started to get hair in places other than my head, I really wanted a scooter. So I had me a Gillera Runner DD. Loved it, I was a right baddass with my pollini exhaust sounding like an upgraded lawn mower! Then I got rid and had me an Aprilia RS125 and also a Cagiva Mito 125. I have always been a lover of the Ducati 748 so the cagiva ticked all the boxes for me at 17.
By the time I was old enough to do my direct access I fell in love with my YZFR6 R46 Valentino Rossi special edition. Only 3000 made world wide! I was in love, tracked it, dragged knees on it, split tyres on it, and it never let me down.
I was a helmet technician for many years, mainly Arai helmets, so I used to have a showroom full of bikes that I could take out and road test with different helmets. Some would say it’s a dream job, Unfortunately does not pay very well but the experience and knowledge I got was worth the trade off.
Now I have a vrod, 2005 VRSCB. Was never really a Harley fan but I always admired the Vrod. As I got older and grew a beard it just seemed to fit with my current looks (jokes). I am notoriously known for expensive hobbies, and I needed a project to keep me busy which made me molester the shit out of my bike. And I’m still going. List of Mods below.
